Anatomy of Leadership Readiness
Leaders are exceptions. Therefore their anatomies are also exceptions. They perform with these exceptional anatomies. We have outlined few important parts that play a major role in this anatomy. They are ordered, ranked and discussed with respect to their importance in how the leaders use them to become great leaders.
AtoZ of Leadership Readiness
Leadership has its own ABC; that is different from the normal ABC. It is not as simple as the letter seems to be, it has a complete depth a new world to explore. Every word for a letter has its own meaning and they define the quality that a leader must have. Each letter has a word of its own and each word has its own meaning with reference to the leadership context. We tried brainstorming and gather different views and ideas amongst ourselves, and have collected as much possible words as we could come up with. Then in the context of leadership we have tried explaining those words or abilities that leaders posses.
— Workplace
Decayed vs Developed Behaviour
A decade ago, I attended a course in Canada. An evening, a guest lecturer spoke to us on the characteristics of decayed nations vs those of developed nations. I do not recall her name or what she covered. I just remembered one thing from her talk: decayed nations live in the past and developed nations live in the future. Or may be in different words. It was my moment of discovery. Suddenly I could make sense why we still talked about 'Fall of Dhaka' and 'Why Pakistan came into being' while the developed world talked about the year 2050!
Walis Perspectives on Managing Stress
You might already have attended seminars on stress management or read about the causes of stress and the suggested coping strategies. I am not going to repeat any of that; all I am aiming is to give you a new worldview about life and a new strategy to deal with stress. This may help some of you, who are in a state of readiness to take this message!
Walis Seven Windows on Stress
- How you see the world.
- How you see yourself.
- How you see your workplace.
- How you see your coworkers.
- How you see your work.
- How you see your family.
- How you see your future.
CFO Under Stress
- There's no actual stress or anxiety; it's our thoughts that create these false beliefs.
- You can't package stress, touch it, or see it. There are only us people engaged in stressful thinking.
- We speak of stress as if it is a combatant, attacker. It's not; it is the result of our body's response to our ego.
- It's about perception of worry/fear/threat, not the threat itself.
Manage Time by Managing 3 Things by Wali
Too much has been written on time management. In my experience, it's much simpler that the science it had been turned into by us trainers. Those who often complain about time management are sometimes handicapped by one or more of these three things (and a fourth for some).

Great Training in 10 Days eBook
Have you ever wondered why some training courses that you have been to are more effective than others? And why are some trainers able to connect with you more than others? It's not coincidental; much of the success can be attributed to the preparation by the trainer in designing the course with attention to detail and his or her handling of individuals and groups during the course.
Value Based Trainer
Trainers are leaders. They have considerable influence and power on those who come to their training sessions. Will the trainers be effective when they teach one thing and do the opposite in real life? Even a bigger question is: why our trainings fail to achieve what they are intended to?
